Designed by Bernard Tschumi, this vast park stretches from the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie to the Philharmonie in a succession of theme gardens and meadows, open to the public and "follies" (small red pavilions). It is crossed by two covered galleries, and includes twelve gardens, some of which are equipped with games (Winds and Dunes, Dragon), the Hall de la Chanson devoted to French-language songs, the Grande Halle de la Villette (shows), and the Zénith where rock and variety stars can play to audiences of up to 6,400.
