This charming district appears out of nowhere between two modern buildings as you come around a corner. Belleville is a village from bygone days with its alleyways and villas such as the Villa de l'Ermitage, Villa Georgina, Passage de la Duée (one of the narrowest passageways in Paris), and rue Taclet, which is adorned with flowers, particularly in the spring.
