Known simply as Bercy to Parisians, the POPB was renamed AccorHotels Arena in 2015 following major renovation work which made this multisports arena one of the five largest in the world in terms of its capacity (20 000 spectators). Designed by the architects Andrault, Parrat and Guvan, this grass-covered pyramid is used for indoor sports events (22 different disciplines) as well as concerts by rock groups and popular singers.
