Contrary to what its name indicates, this is the oldest of the present bridges in Paris! It is not that Parisians wish to mislead the tourist... In fact, it was the newest when in 1604, it was completed according to the plans of Androuet Du Cerceau. It is made up of two bridges, not truly aligned separated by the equestrian statue of Henri IV. A view of the Vert-Galant gardens, the bridge of the Arts and the Institute, superb in the golden light of the sunset
