This avenue runs along one side of the gardens of the Champs-Élysées. On the opposite side, admire the impressive buildings along Faubourg Saint-Honoré: the Palais de l'Élysée, the official residence of the French President, with its fine wrought-iron gate built in 1905; the British embassy; the Interallied Union Club; and the U.S. embassy.
