Accessible via the funicular, Ascensor da Glória, this pleasant garden forms a balcony above the lower town and offers a very extensive view of Baixa, the Tagus and São Jorge Castle on the hill opposite (see the viewpoint table). The panoramic view is particularly splendid in the evening, when the castle is illuminated by the setting sun. Pleasant refreshment stands with terrace.
