CaixaForum is housed in the magnificent Modernista building of the former Casramona textile museum, which was built in the early 20C by architect Puig i Cadafalch (1867-1956). Today, the centre hosts high-quality temporary exhibitions and a permanent installation by Joseph Beuys, Pain Space (1983).
