Riccardo Giraudi, founder of the Beefbar concept, opened this establishment, which pays tribute to Genoese chef Zeffirino Belloni, renowned for his pesto, as does its Monaco counterpart. Established in a swanky neighbourhood of the capital, it delivers flawlessly crafted, family-style Italian cuisine, throbbing with flavour: a selection of antipasti, an enticing lineup of fresh house-made pasta, escalopes of veal, Amalfi lemon and almond sauce; a majestic tagliata of chateaubriand, roast potatoes in rosemary; grilled squid tentacles, romesco sauce and a superb millefeuille for dessert. The decor in the style of "Italy in the Roaring Twenties" will not disappoint neo-vintage fans.
