The ruins of this castle dominate the waters of Lake Skadar. Despite its crow's nest appearance, this bastion, which was the capital of the Crnojević dynasty at the time, had to be abandoned to the Turks in 1478. It turned out to be a necessary evil: the new capital of Montenegro, Cetinje, founded in 1482, was destined for a great future.
