Although this church has retained some of its original 13C features, most of the present-day building dates from the 18C and 19C. The church houses several tombstones and recumbent statues from the 13C and 14C, as well as the imposing tomb of Richard Boyle, the first Count of Cork and the richest man in Ireland in the 17C. The size of a house, this monument depicts a man leaning casually against his family tree, surrounded by his wives, children and mother-in-law.
