Protected from the currents, the splendid sandy beach of Wissant is depicted by a broad curve between Gris-nez headland upstream and Blanc-Nez headland downstream, below terraced villas that dominate the seaboard. On fine days, the small seaside resort is a favourite with holidaying families, while you are more likely to see kite surfers when the wind blows.
