The long 21km strip of green running through Vienna between the two arms of the Danube Canal is entirely devoted to leisure activities (cycling, jogging, water sports, beaches, cafés and informal restaurants) except when the river is in spate. It is also affectionately known as the Copa Cagrana due to its proximity to the Kagran district.
