To the north of Vienna lie the wooded slopes of the Wienerwald, which meet the Danube here. This is the Döbling district, composed of old wine-growing villages such as Grinzing, and where country houses rub shoulders with contemporary villas. In this way, they present a dual aspect, a lower - urbanised - part, and an upper - residential - part, which goes up through the vines towards the wooded heights.
