Hietzig, which became fashionable in the late 19C, attracted many artists and intellectuals. Dominated by the national television buildings (ORF), this aristocratic neighbourhood is nowadays the capital's most chic. It has several Biedermeier buildings and a Stadtbahn pavilion (station building) by Otto Wagner.
