Built between 1825 and 1833 by Antonio Corazzi, the Grand Theatre boasts a fine Classical façade decorated with Greek sculptures, and its interior rotunda is worth the detour. Rebuilt and enlarged after the war, it houses the Opera and National Theatre, as well as a small museum with temporary exhibitions on the history of theatre in Poland. The interior is, however, only accessible during performances.
