Spa visitors, people out for a stroll and patrons of the Grand Café converge here in this park planted with chestnut and plane trees, which was laid around the springs on the orders of Napoleon I. It has elegant covered galleries and an Art Nouveau bandstand, both designed by Émile Robert, and the former Grand Casino, the epicentre of Vichy society.
