Designed by Baldassare Longhena, this church has a Baroque façade made from Carrara marble. The interior houses the tomb of the last Doge of Venice, Ludovico Manin. The ceiling was once decorated with frescoes by Tiepolo, but unfortunately these were destroyed during the First World War. Thankfully some of Tiepolo's frescoes have survived and can be admired on the ceiling in the first chapel in the left aisle. The chapel of the Holy Family is adorned with blue Murano glass chandeliers.
