Built in the 16C in late-Gothic style, these two houses served as the office and warehouse for the Scottish wool merchants of Veere. The stone carving on the façade of n°25 represents a lamb, the emblem of the wool trade. At n°27, the house is called the Ostrich (De Struys) even though the bird looks more like a dodo. The two buildings house part of the collection from the local museum.
