A passage on the right of the church, Iglesia Santa Catalina, leads to Plaza Redonda, an unusual little round "square" locally known as El Clot ("The Hole"). This perfectly harmonious urban patio of sorts was designed in 1837 by a neo-Classical architect, Salvador Escrig Melchor. All around are stalls selling lace and haberdashery.
