Covering 2 000m2, this museum displays a varied collection organised thematically, giving an excellent introduction to Liechtenstein's cultural history. The ground floor has Prehistoric and Bronze Age collections, Roman coins and objects plus Germanic jewellery. On the first floor are the fine Fastentuch von Bendern tapestry (1612) and Celtic votive figurines, while the second floor displays portraits of the princes of Liechtenstein. Medieval armour and folk art completes the collection.
