The first of these two neighbouring sanctuaries, an oratory from the 14C, contains interesting frescoes by Salimbeni recalling the life of St John the Baptist. The second, from the 16C, has a huge statue of St Joseph painted in grisaille, four large canvases by Carlo Roncalli and an attractive stucco crib by Federico Brandani (1522-1575).
