A short walk along the quayside of Trogir immediately reveals the remains of the ramparts. Note the Travellers' Loggia, which accommodated travellers disembarking after the town gates had closed. The walk takes you past the Sea Gate (late 16C), the church of St Dominic (Sv. Dominik), late 15C and the splendid fortress of Kamerlengo at the end of the quay. It was built between 1420 and 1437. Finally, Marmont's pavilion bears witness to the French occupation, while the 15C tower of St Mark to that of the Venetians.
