This fine sculpture by Francis Renaud represents the grief of a Breton woman in mourning. A few old houses (Hôtel de Coetivy, the house of Duke John V) are located in Rue Colvestre opposite the monument. Visitors can continue their walk as far as the Bois du Poète wood overlooking the Guindy and the funeral monument erected to the memory of the Breton writer Anatole Le Braz.
