Tinerhir Oasis, probably one of the most remarkable in the country, includes a vast farming area marked off by a network of low adobe walls, a superb palm grove, and a large number of ksour (adobe villages) where the locals get together. Be sure to visit the palm grove in the late afternoon when it is at its most charming, shop for a silver bracelet at the souk on Monday, then head for Todra Gorge.
