A long staircase lined by stalls descends into the steep canyon, revealing a superb view of the rice paddies dotted with coconut trees. On the left, at the bottom, are four surprising facades, each housing a funerary temple, carved directly into the rock in niches, almost 7m high. Five others are located on the other bank of the Pakerisan, while there is a tenth further south. They are 11C royal tombs.
