The highlight of the oceanographic museum at Stralsund is without doubt the aquariums, including a huge 50,000l/13,200gal tank where visitors can see sharks and sea turtles. The 15m/49ft-long skeleton of a razorback whale that washed up on the beach of the island of Rügen Island is also quite dramatic.
