The architect of this church, Hans Puxbaum, was also responsible for St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna and Steyr parish church, both of which were built in the Gothic style in the mid 15C and have a similar plan and elevation. Puxbaum also designed the tabernacle with its delicate tracery and the chancel canopy. The font is adorned with low reliefs dating from the 16C.
