Cosanti's striking maze of half-buried raw concrete constructions is set among tall shady trees and refreshing waterfalls. Some edifices are home to ceramic and bronze workshops, out of which emerge wind chimes, the sound of which echoes around (on sale in the gift shop). Despite the inevitable aging process, the complex remains an intriguing example of Paolo Soleri's career, ever in search of new architectural shapes and figures.
