The Jujol-Can Negre Centre dominates Plaça de Catalunya. Built from 1915-30, it is Jujol's most iconic edifice in Sant Joan Despí, and illustrates the influence of Gaudi. Notice the small benches with blue mosaics similar to those in Güell Park and the undulating forms, reminiscent of the sea, without forgetting the skeleton of the wrought-iron arches upholding the terrace. The edifice is home to the Centre d'Estudis Jujol, which contains a map of the town and its main monuments.
