Cabrillo Marine Aquarium
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
Housed in an innovative gray structure (1981, Frank Gehry) bedecked with chain link and designed to evoke maritime images such as seashells, fish nets and billowing sails, this small aquarium and museum offers an excellent introduction to Southern California's marine life. More than 500 species of fish and other aquatic creatures are displayed in 38 aquariums organized to reflect the region's diverse environments, including rocky shores, sandy habitats, mud flats and the open ocean. A 3,200-gallon tank offers a look at dwellers of the kelp forest, and a touch tank allows hands-on interaction with various sea creatures.
