Built from 1614 to 1655, Salzburg Cathedral is a huge edifice, where the Baroque style makes its presence felt through Italian Renaissance features. Its vast interior is richly decorated with marble, stuccowork and paintings. Mozart was baptised here. In the crypt, you can see the prince-archbishops' tombs, a fine Christ and a few vestiges from the Romanesque.
