This square, which hosts the market, just as it did in the past, remains a pleasant place to have a coffee or a meal. At the corner of rue Pasteur there is a merchant's house, whose half-timbered jettied façade has been preserved, along with its roof with small brown tiles, and its "taoulié" – the stone stall on which wares would have been set out. Also on the square, the house known as Maison des Consuls with a Renaissance façade is built in the medieval tradition, with a timber-framed upper floor. The square hosts a fair on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
