The Robec stream, spanned by lots of small footbridges, continues to run down Rue Eau-de-Robec, depicted by pretty restored half-timbered facades. The houses were sometimes topped with a "flat storehouse" (grenier-étente) recalling the district's past as the centre of the dyeing industry.
