Jo Coenen designed the brick and glass edifice, home to the "new institute" devoted to architecture, design and digital cultures. He worked with fellow architects, among whom Czech Borek Sipek, who was responsible for the interior of the building. A slope behind the foyer leads to different levels, where the exhibitions are held.
