This building houses temporary exhibitions on art, architecture, design, photography and non-European cultures. The architect, Rem Koolhaas, has made clever use of the differences in level between the Museumpark and the causeway. Note the piece by Henk Visch on the roof, depicting a camel and its driver, a symbol of the transient and itinerant nature of the exhibitions.
