This museum occupies the "Maison Romane" (Romanesque House), one of the oldest properties in Provins. Here, you will find an interesting collection of protohistoric, prehistoric, Gallo-Roman and Merovingian artefacts, as well as works by the Provins sculptor Louise Élisabeth-Munaut, furniture and old ceramics considered valuable examples of art created in the town. Also on display are freemason ornaments, medals, weapons and items from everyday life from different periods in history.
