The not too strenuous walk up to the Chollière from the Hôtel de la Vanoise rewards you with a fine view of the Glière and Grande Casse (3,855m/12,648ft), one of the highest and most beautiful peaks in the Vanoise region. In summer, the Chollière meadows are a riot of daffodils, gentians and blue thistle.
