Commissioned in 1720 from one of the masters of Prague Baroque, Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer, the Villa Amerika is decorated with pretty frescoes by Johann Ferdinand Schor, and statues from Matthias Bernard Braun's workshop are dotted about the garden. Since 1932, this villa has housed a museum celebrating the life of one of the outstanding figures in Czech music: Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904).
