This small temple bears witness to the popularity of the Egyptian goddess Isis, following the development of trade and contacts with the East and Egypt. Placed on a podium in the centre of an arcaded courtyard, the temple is completed by a purgatorium, a place for purification where the waters drawn from the Nile are guarded. The temple decoration can be seen in the Archaeological museum of Naples.
