It is little wonder that glass work began here in the 15C, because all the components are available on site: silica, potash, wood, lime and water. Since then, glassware has evolved as a craft and industry. The exhibition in a 17C wooden hall showcases techniques and know-how, while the master glassblowers can be seen at work in the workshops. Also worth seeing are the antique furniture and Aubusson tapestries, contemporary works and La Rochère engraved lamps.
