This 12C and 13C cathedral has been continually remodelled over the centuries. Its most remarkable feature is the Pórtico del Paraíso, which imitates the Pórtico da Gloria in the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, with its three sculpted arches and colourful primitive decoration. The 16C-17C Santísimo Cristoa chapel, which is representative of the Galician Baroque style thanks to the exuberance of its sculptures, is also well worth a look. A museum of sacred art is now housed in the former 13C chapterhouse.
