This museum in a modern building houses a fine collection of boats, nautical instruments and paintings by artists who worked in Oostduinkerke c 1900, such as Artan, the 19C Belgian painter born in The Hague. A typical fisherman's house and a 1920 estaminet have been reconstructed next door. A lifeboat and shrimp boat are displayed in the courtyard.
