The Rivers Prądnik and Sąspówka meet in a deep valley, whose slopes shelter unique landscapes greatly prized for their walking and hiking opportunities. Exploring its paths reveals a limestone landscape, dotted with some 400 caves and bristling with rock formations with fanciful names such as the Club of Hercules. The prevailing microclimate favours mountain plants, which in turn support a diverse wildlife, notably deer and bats, the symbol of the national park.
