This church was built between 1577 and 1659 to plans by Pellegrino Tibaldi and crowned between 1844 and 1878 with an audacious dome, created by Novara architect Alessandro Antonelli. Inside the church, note the polyptych of the Nativity by Gaudenzio Ferrari, and the silver sarcophagus of San Gaudenzio, the patron saint of Novara.
