These magnificent cloisters were designed by architect Domenico Antonio Vaccaro in the 18C. The open-air centre was turned into a garden, the centre lines of which are underlined by two paths covered by a pergola, thus forming a cross. The low wall supporting the arcades of the cloisters, the columns of the paths and the benches are tiled with fabulous faiences decorated with floral motifs, landscapes, country scenes, hunting trips and mythological subjects.
