Designed by Bruce Price, famous architect of Quebec City's Château Frontenac, this distinctive railway station (1889) is one of Montreal's finest examples of the Richardsonian Romanesque style, characterised by towers, crenellations, turrets and round arches. Originally designed to house the administrative centre of Canadian Pacific Railways, the concourse is no longer in use, but is linked to the main station by an underground network.
