At the end of Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle stands the Corum, a vast, concrete complex made out of red Finnish granite and designed by Claude Vasconi to house the finely-tuned acoustics of the Berlioz opera hall, which can seat 2,000 spectators. From the terrace of the Corum, you will enjoy a view that embraces the city's roofs, St Pierre Cathedral, the former Jesuits' college and the spire of the church of St Anne.
