The forest, extending across an area close to 2 000ha, covers the biggest "hill" in the Paris region, located to the north of the Seine, facing the upper districts of Cormeilles. It is crisscrossed by footpaths, trails and cycle tracks. Here, you can also admire the Château de la Chasse, an oddly shaped château flanked by truncated towers and surrounded by lakes.
