This museum occupies a disused steel mill, one of the few vestiges of this former industrial wasteland that was entirely revamped in the 2010s. This avant-garde complex, the original structure of which has been preserved, hosts temporary exhibitions dedicated to plastic artists, architects and contemporary art movements. A new wing inaugurated in 2016 houses permanent collections, notably the works that Antioquian artist, Débora Arango (1907-2005), bequeathed to the town.
