Housed in a typical Madrid palace, this museum offers visitors an enjoyable interlude. As you move from room to room in this palace, you can imagine the daily life of Madrid's high society in the Romantic era (1833-1868). The different parlours, from reception room (dance room) to intimate nook (boudoir, smoking room), bedchambers, dining room, oratory etc are a magnificent setting for the museum's collections of furniture, objets d'art, toys and paintings.
